As with many large brands, Patrizia Pepe's origins can be found in Italy. Patrizia Bambi and Claudio Orrea lived here in Florence. After graduating with a business degree, Bambi had already worked in several companies, while Orrea owned a small textile manufacturing company at the time. As soon as the two creative minds got to know each other, the first ideas arose to incorporate Bambi's taste more into their own production. Specialization followed in 1991, and two years later the time had come: after being officially founded, Patrizia Pepe launched her first collection under a new name. It became clear early on that the two knew how to consistently fulfill their demands: they created distinctive clothing that the wearers could identify with.

Initial success as a basis for further milestones

The first designs and sales often decide what happens next with a brand. Fortunately, the premiere collection gave Bambi and Orrea enough financial and creative freedom to continue to grow. From her hometown of Florence, which is still the company headquarters today, Patrizia Pepe expanded into other European countries in the following years. The Asian market followed only a short time later. The designer also became more diversified in her own range in the following years. In 2009, for example, another milestone was achieved, as Patrizia Pepe released her own beachwear line that year.
