The history of the Steffen Schraut brand began in 2002. Steffen Schraut, the brand's namesake, founded his label that year after previously working as a trends scout for the fashion house Peek & Cloppenburg, among other things.

Even before he founded the company, Schraut had repeatedly created his own designs, but he never found the courage to set up his own label. It was only when Düsseldorf fashion icon Albert Eickhoff discovered the styles by chance and encouraged Schraut to present them in his own label that the young designer took the step. From the beginning, his goal was to design fashion that reflected the personality of confident women.

From an insider tip to an established luxury fashion brand

In its early days, the label was initially considered more of an insider tip, known almost exclusively to the absolute experts in the fashion market. However, this changed relatively quickly. Steffen Schraut is a big fan of the designer Yves Saint Lauren and is always inspired by his styles.

A trademark for Steffen Schraut are the high-quality materials that are always used to produce the fashion. The designer relies on very clear and flawlessly fitting cuts in his fashion. Strong colors and attention to detail are also characteristic of Steffen Schraut's styles. As a fashion scout for Peek & Cloppenburg, Steffen Schraut regularly traveled around the world. Even today, the designer still visits various fashion metropolises such as Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Hong Kong in order to incorporate the impressions he collects there into his fashion.
